As a Data Scientist, you will need to have strong programming skills and a strong understanding of data science and Machine Learning tools. You will use your knowledge and/or experience in Data Science methodologies and apply them to solve challenging real-world problems as part of a highly dynamic and global team.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Solid understanding of Statistics, e.g., hypothesis formulation, hypothesis testing, descriptive analysis, and data exploration.
• Aptitude and skills in Machine Learning, e.g., linear/logistics regression discriminant analysis, bagging, random forest, Bayesian model, SVM, neural networks, etc.
• Strong programming skills in various languages (Python, Scala, R)
• Strong ambition to learn and implement the current state of the art machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, H2O, Keras, TensorFlow, and Spark.
• Familiarity with Linux/OS X command line, version control software (git), and general software development.
• Experience in programming or scripting to enable ETL development.
• Familiarity with relational databases.

Additional Requirements

• Age 25 to 35 years
• Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
• Experience building and optimizing big data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
• Assess the effectiveness of new data sources and data gathering techniques. Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
• Use predictive modeling to enhance customer experiences, revenue generation, and other business outcomes. Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality.
