Nybsys is led by its founder and CEO Moshtaq Ahmed, a Harvard graduate with over two decades of experience in delivering many large-scale systems across Asia and Africa. His multitude of innovative projects have made positive changes to the lives of many people on the planet. This includes country transformative projects mainly in Asia and Africa which helped to increase government revenue manifold, while improving efficiency and productivity of operations. In addition, his work has brought the power of technology to the doorsteps of the large numbers of people in several countries. He is currently focused on growing the US operations of Nybsys. This includes hardware-software product strategies across networking, communications, IoT, and security portfolios, with global go-to-market impact.
Dan O’Malley leads Nybsys Global sales. He is a Senior Sales and Marketing Executive with over 20 years’ experience in both the private radio network communications and connected safety and security industries. He has extensive experience in video, IoT, building management systems, and radio communications technologies. At Nybsys Dan leads sales operations in the US and works on strategic global accounts. Dan has worked at various companies in product development, sales, marketing and management roles. Most notably he worked at Cisco Systems for 8 years, Pelco for 5 years, and Motorola Solutions for 11 years.
Afrim Tonuzi is global CFO of Nybsys. He is a senior Finance executive with over 25 years’ experience in HR, Finance and Commercial Management, across various companies in Europe and Africa. At Nybsys, Afrim leads all financial operations across different global theaters, including US, Africa and Asia. He holds membership at the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants in London, UK and has an advanced diploma in Accounting and Business from there. He also has a Master of Sciences in Civil Electric and Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Robotics and Automated Processes.
Khanya Magagula is CMO of Nybsys in Africa. He has been marketing and promoting Nybsys business products including Nybsys integrated software, security and communication solutions in Africa since 2017. He has also been coordinating the overall activities of the company and supervising the operational staff of DataNet, a key Nybsys copartner in Africa. He has over 20 years of experience in senior leadership positions at companies across southern Africa including in Kenya, and Swaziland. Khanya is a graduate of University of Swaziland.
Thuso Green is Head of Strategy and Operation of Nybsys in Africa. He is a founding shareholder of DataNet Lesotho, a Nybsys copartner, and has many years of experience as a businessman in Lesotho. He is a graduate of Aberdeen University in Scotland. He has vast experience as a socio-economic and natural resources management researcher. He founded and managed Sechaba Consulted which became a household name in the research arena in Lesotho and the SADC region. He has participated in the ICT sector for many years and has developed and introduced a number of significant business processes that have had extensive impacts on the lives of his fellow citizens. Thuso has participated in a number of regional initiatives as a researcher and board director.
Stephan van der Walt is Nybsys VP of Engineering in Africa. He is an industry-recognized leader in networking technology, involved in solution architecture and other projects at various African companies. He has 20 years of industry experience and over 12 years leading teams in the design, implementation and support of complex enterprise-level WAN / LAN / Wireless / Collaboration and Security platforms. He holds 3 Cisco CCIE certifications in Security, Voice and Routing/Switching. He is also a Huawei Certified Internetwork Routing and Switching Expert. Stephan is a graduate of Stellenbosch University.
Mahbubur Rahman manages Nybsys Sales operations in Southern Africa. He has been in the business since 2007, holding a series of roles including Supply chain, Customer relationship and Sales. He is responsible for the company’s business performance, driving company growth and partner success across southern Africa . Prior to joining Nybsys sales team, He spent a decade leading DataNet field technician and Project management team. He maintains better relationship with both public and private sector customers. He also spent 3 years as Branch manager in Nybsys South Africa. Mahbubur Rahman has bachelor’s degree in business management and MBA in Management Information System.
Mxolisi Dlamini
Partner, Legal Affairs
Mr. Mxolisi Dlamini is responsible for Legal Affairs for Nybsys in Africa. He is an expert in Industrial Relations and labour related matters dealing with such from internal disciplinary procedures (internal grievance procedures), in the Conciliation Mediation Arbitration Commission (CMAC), Industrial Court, Industrial Court of Appeal, High Court and Supreme Court. He completed his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with the University of Eswatini in the year 2009 and thereafter attached with the International Criminal Court in Arusha, Tanzania (for the special tribunal regarding the Rwanda Genocide). He is a member of the Law Society of Eswatini and also an admitted attorney of the High Court and Supreme Court of Eswatini.
Ziasmin Akter manages Nybsys operations in Bangladesh. A post graduate in Human Resource Management, she studied at Jahangirnagar University—a reputable University of higher education in Bangladesh, and joined NybSys in 2012. Ziasmin Akter is a result-driven leader at NybSys who promotes a robust corporate culture that fosters continuous business growth. She motivates the employees to realize their full potential and bring their best to the job. She is well-known for her outstanding leadership abilities, decision-making expertise & communications skills.
Ayub Hassan is responsible for managing all Nybsys sales and operations in Bangladesh. He has a wealth of experience in government, military & private sector including participation in multiple global UN peacekeeping missions in leadership capacities. He has an MBA from Royal Roads University in Canada and Masters in Disaster Management from Brac University. He has taught at the Bangladesh University of Professionals and many prime Training Institutions. He has many globally recognized publications on ICT and Disaster Management. He is an accomplished leader with a proven track record in operations management, planning, execution, monitoring and evaluating communication and ICT at strategic levels.
Tanvir Ahmed leads Hardware and IoT solutions at Nybsys. He is a Senior Electrical engineer specializing in back-end Hardware device development, project management and customer relationship management. At Nybsys, he manages all stages of the development cycles for dynamic IoT, Networking and Communications projects. He has 8 years of experience in leading teams and in hardware design, all the way from concept to mature product. Tanvir is well-versed in numerous CAD designing software signal analysis tools, schematic cad tools , RF propagation tools, RF signal analysis tools and programming languages. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical engineering & Information Technology from RheinMain University of Applied Sciences Germany.
Shaikh Faisal Hossain leads Application Software research and development at NybSys BD. He is a senior engineer with over 9+ years of software development experience across diverse computer languages. He is experienced with Agile development methodologies and the full software development cycle, across many Nybsys products. He is a proven software development leader coaching and mentoring many engineers on mobile App and core Application projects. Faisal has a master’s degree in computer science and engineering from Jahangir Nagar University (JU), Dhaka. He has significant contributions in the IOT and Mobile Application development field.
Arifur Rahman leads the QA Team and DevOps of Nybsys BD. He is a senior QA and DevOps engineer with over 12 years of experience in manual and automated testing and DevOps. He is responsible for application deployment in the cloud and on on-premises servers, for server monitoring and for web, desktop, API and mobile application testing. He is also responsible for Security, Performance, Load, User Acceptance and Stress tests to deliver high-quality Nybsys products. Arif is experienced in implementing agile methodologies and has a solid understanding of software development life (SDLC) and QA life cycles. He is a natural leader and a great team player.
Shamsuddin Ahmed leads creatives operations and digital marketing efforts at Nybsys. This includes Nybsys web and social media presence, along with promotional materials design and booth design for industry shows. He has 12+ years of experience in 3D animation, rendering, post-production, architectural, and commercial animation with motion graphics. His professional 3D design career began at 3D CAD Service Ltd with the Google Earth project. After that, he served Illusionist BD & Latitude-23 as a 3D visualizer. At Nybsys, Shamsuddin is driving 3D design and animation and NybSys YouTube video production. He also leads UI team collaboration with IoT, ML, & .NET teams. His deep experience in the 3D industry has motivated him to devote himself towards establishing the best brand presence for NybSys.
